Vitigliano is located half way between those two cities of the Renaissance richest in culture, Florence (25 km) and Siena (35 km).

A 500 metre-long cypress-lined driveway, suitable for cars of all kinds, connects the estate to the Chiantigiana road. There is also a public bus service directly to Florence (50 minutes). Greve and Panzano can both be reached on foot. And a host of scenic bike tours for racing bikes and mountain bikes also begin here.

Greve, the picturesque capital of the Chianti region and founding member of the “Slow City“ movement, is only 2 km away. There, alongside an old market square, modern amenities (tourist information office, library, municipal indoor pool) and shopping opportunities (markets, retailers of every kind) can be found. A short 1.5 km walk on the old Roman path directly leads to Panzano, another gem of the Chianti.

Just 5 km away you can choose from 30 restaurants, including such renowned ones as that owned by butcher and restaurateur Dario Cecchini in Panzano (with whom Jamie Oliver has enjoyed cooking in the past). Let us reserve the perfect restaurant for you, or cater for you directly here in Vitigliano.

Florence Airpot can be reached in 45 minutes; Italy‘s oldest golf club Ugolino (18 holes) in 20 minutes.
